Hello! My name is Lauren Richardson and I am going to be in my second year of teaching at Herman T. Jones Elementary. I am so blessed to be a part of the JES family!
A little history about me... I graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in Tomball, Texas in May of 2010. Shortly after, I continued my education at Texas A&M University in College Station and graduated in May of 2015. WHOOP! I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic and Investigative Sciences, but always wanted to use those skills to be an educator. A year after graduating college and working in a toxicology laboratory, I pursued my teaching certificate through Texas Teachers and am now a certified teacher. I could not have dreamed of a better career and passion! Truly, this is what I was called to do.
I have been married for a little over a year to my amazing husband, Tyler and we have a wonderful dog named Wyatt. I love hanging out with my family, friends, and dog. I also enjoy running, online shopping, and making new friends.
This will be my second year of teaching third grade Math and Science at Jones Elementary. I enjoy making math lessons FUN and engaging! Seeing students' eyes light up when he or she figures out a difficult math problem is what makes my heart happy!
I am excited for this upcoming year, watching your student grow and learn.
